Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's the night. You know what I’m talking about. The MET Gala. Declared to be The Oscars of the fashion world, the glittering and themed party upholds a high standard of beauty, glamour, and most importantly, DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA. It’s customary to see the most outlandish, outrageous, and exciting looks of the year on the red carpet. This year, for the Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology theme, our standards were high. And while everyone did look beautiful, a lot of people seemed to miss the mark: we felt like most forgot that some actual technology should be incorporated into the whirlwind of the glamour, black lipstick, and Instagram Boomerang clips.
